This work introduces a replicable model using AI as a structured support tool—not a content generator—to refine technical writing and narratives in materials processing education. Guided by faculty mediation and ethical standards, the approach effectively enhances active learning and student synthesis capabilities in engineering projects.

This report summarizes the "Steelmaking" and "Corrosion" workshops held at UNIFEI, where students presented applied engineering solutions. Topics ranged from optimizing production logistics and reducing setup times in steel plants to analyzing wear in mining grinding media.
